Greetings,
As you might have realized I have not been posting at the Colts Corner in a while. I will now be posting about the Colts for the new website Fanhuddle.com. The new website at which you can see my Colts work at is www.coltscommentary.com. The site is not up yet, but it should be up during the first week of september.
You can also read articles about the NFL, UFL, CFL, AFL and more at my blog rfor6.blogspot.com, which I will update four or five times a day. I look forward to seeing Reservation For Six grow. I will continue to write at www.realbitsofpanthers.com about the Carolina Panthers.
The Colts Corner will not be shut down, but It might be a while before I post articles on it again, but it will happen someday. In addition I would like for you to email me at www.nflrumors@gmail.com if you have any questions, comments, concerns.
I wish the Colts a great season, and I hope you are doing well.

Colts Release Seward, Crane
www.indyfootballreport.com is reporting that the Colts have released linebacker Adam Seward and quarterback Chris Crane. Crane was released when the Colts back up quarterback, Jim Sorgi, returned to practice.
The Colts also signed Walter Mendenhall and Marcus Paschal. Mendenhall is the brother of Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall. Mendenhall was signed because both Mike Hart and Chad Simpson went down with injuries.
Seward was probably released because the Colts are stacked at linebacker. Freddy Keiaho now steps up in Seward's place as the Colts back up Mike linebacker. Tyjuan Hagler and Jordan Senn can also play middle linebacker.

Raheem Brock injured
The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Colts defensive tackle/defensive end Raheem Brock hurt his left hand in the Colts opening preseason game against the Vikings. Brock came to practice with a cast on his hand, wrist and arm.
Brock started at defensive end last season, in an attempt to improve the Colts run defense. Coach Jim Caldwell told reporters that Brock has a problem with his hand, and he is not sure how long Brock will be out.
The Colts other left end Robert Mathis was injured in the Vikings game also, but his injury looks less severe. Marcus Howard, Keyunta Dawson, and Eric Foster will; likely get snaps at left end while Brock and Mathis are out.

Colts Preseason Week One Reveiw
The Good
Donald Brown, the Colts first round pick was amazing Friday night. Brown carried the ball only five times, but he still managed to pick up 58 yards rushing. On Brown's third run off the night, he bounced off of three defenders for a thirty eight yard run.
The Bad
The Vikings rushed for 198 rushing yards on 41 carries. Chester Taylor, the Vikings back up running back, had a seventy two yard run in the first quarter. But, the Colts were without safety's Bob Sanders and Antoine Bethea
The Ugly
Peyton Manning was sacked three times, with starting left tackle Ryan Diem, and right tackle Charlie Johnson out with injuries the Colts struggled to contain the Vikings pass rush. And that was just in one series.
